Here is the comparison.

I have both Federals flanking a current Limited production Buck 112 Ranger w/Stag handles.

I placed a straight edge on the rear of the frames,so the comparison of length is fair.
That is really good! Thanks!
Oh and very nice stag on your 112!  :like:

The top knife is one of the Federal limited production knives and the knife below is a Buck 110 Folding Hunter in the Slim-line version.

The second photo illustrates the thinness of the Slim-line compared with the Federal.

I'm wondering; how much does it weigh?  I have the old Gerber Folding Sportsman II, and despite its brass/wood construction, I am surprised by its light weight.

Here is another Slim-line Buck.It's a 112 with a N/S frame,fibron handles and an S-30-V blade.

Contrast this with a limited edition Buck 112 with a N/S fame, brown canvas micarta handles and an S-30-V.

This another Federal Folding Hunter. This was the configuration of the original 110 Folding Hunter produced in 1963 at the Buck plant on Federal Avenue.

This comparison is of the Federal and the second generation of Buck 1110 Folding Hunters, now euphemistically known as a 2 dot.

Wow !  it's a lot smaller than the modern one .

Thanks Cody.

I bought that from a woman who's husband had gone to the Buck factory in the sky.

Yes I saw that and believe this seller is reaching for the sky.

I know some sellers who are willing to sell if they can hit a home run.

I'm not really sure of the current value but my guess would be about $75.00 to $100.00 shy of his asking price.
