Handyman case
on: January 13, 2016, 06:09:38 PM
Hello there, I am wondering if there is a case for Victorinox Handyman 1.3773 in which the Handyman fits really tight. Something that won't enlarge the SAK a lot.
I would also really appreaciate it if someone who has a Handyman with such a case could upload a picture of it with the SAK in. Thanks in advance

I suspect you will have to do a custom order (Etsy, Skinth Solutions, ...) or make something yourself. The Handyman is a great knife, but not a big seller, so it's generally relegated to using the same cases as its bigger brother, SwissChamp.

We had a thread a while ago where a member showed how he made a slip sheath for a SAK using shrink tubing, another guy made a belt sheath from bicycle tyre inner tubes. I guess those can be adjusted pretty much arbitrarily and would be pretty hard to beat for a tight and slim fit.

The Cocoon idea was mine, I think:

Cool blog Neil. Just spent a while reading it.  The CT bit solution is especially great, im going to use that one for mine.

Another option, that would be quick and easy if you have access to a sewing machine:

I personally prefer a suspension type clip on this size sak and put it in my from pocket,I have got a pouch made by my sister in law that holds a 4 layer sak and a torch and mini pry bar, fits perfectly in my back pocket  :tu:
