I have a Olight AAA light that I took on my last deployment with zero issues. Not this one but the one with three modes whose model name escapes me at the moment.

As for this one I am not sure how much I would like a single mode light anymore. Spoiled now I guess.

Still at 10 bucks it might be nice to have a few around the house and cars.

They have been out for maybe a month. Already sold out at some places. I like the specs. Might get one.

It looks to have a good keyring attachment too. Might actually make its way on to my keychain.

Between this and my modded Vagabond I would be pretty well set.

You're talking about i3s one :) I wonder why they didn't come with a bit different model names.

Just as you said, I've also been spoiled by the i3s and not sure if I'll go for this one-mode one. Unless they get really cheap :D

And it doesn't have a clip :ahhh

According to the Olight website they are 10-14$. If I could get one of the stainless at this price I would definitively buy it. Sadly it will be more like 40$ here.
Also I'm still hoping they bring out another rechargeable one, like the i7r. Ideally with a tail-switch
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I'm wondering how much they'll sell for her

But.... I don't like its shape either for some reason

Anyway, I hope we will soon see some real pictures here :D

Might be good for gifts I guess, but the 3 mode model isn't that much more expensive.

I think with head twisties 1-mode is fine. Especially for people who are not that much into gear (way too complicated to change modes :P).

Looks like my well used iTP A3 EOS Upgraded (3-mode).

Interesting they've gone with a Luxeon and not continued with a Cree LED.

I thought about this after I posted, these might be good for people who are not like us.

Freaks!

It can't tailstand :D

Too bright and runtimes too short for my liking.

Yeah and it has no clip either. It's cheaper, but ... no, thanks. It looks like Olight's version of the Fenix E01, but can't tailstand and is way too bright and for that with short run time. hm.

Fenix E01 has me covered in AAA format. Small, lightweight, durable, floody, it can tailstand, very good runtimes. I have no need for something different.

Speaking of pocket clips, I am not fond of them despite their usefulness (when they don't impede function). Having said that, I keep my LD09 constantly clipped to my pocket ever since I got it last September. A great little flashlight, I've no intention of getting rid of it. :tu: In fact, prices have come down so I might get me a spare one at some point

Hmm two votes for the Fenix E01.

Time to work my Google-fu.

A long time in the future, after nuclear Armageddon has destroyed the planet; when the cockroaches evolve opposing thumbs; the first tool they will use will be an E01 that survived. And it will be running on its first battery.
