Heroes reborn,any thoughts?

I was a fan of the original series and have them all on dvd,even got the hiro sword

hiro was one of my favourite characters, i dont wont spoilers as not started in the uk yet,but thoughts on the new seriescand characters

I was a bit gutted as new characters,but some interesting ones,like miko who uses the sword to go into a computer game,

The finale is one of the worst pieces of dreck I've ever witnessed. The rest of it is OK. But honestly just ok.

I read that there was a writters strike while doing the original series,kind of noticed it on some later episodes,I'll watch this new one and not look to forward to it,

Yup, there was a HUGE writers strike the year before the final season or the final season, not sure anymore. All of the series being filmed in that year, not just Heros, was limited to a few episodes only, half a usual season at best.
