A question to the US guys

Now that you've had a new 100$ bill for some time, the older 100$ bills are still in circulation, right?

My sister got hold of two of the new 100$ bills and she'll keep one for me - I haven't seen them live But then I thought of checking the years of mine, so some of these I have are from 1996 and a couple from 2006. I think that's cool, given it's 2016 now 20 & years old.

Btw, I don't know how the prices of gold and silver are going for you (probably it's all going down), but for us, after Brexit, gold & silver have soared. I wish I'd bought more before that.

I've started watching videos about people who buy gold exactly In case of such extreme occurrences....
And I'm still not convinced what we should keep our savings in: pure cash or foreign currencies or metals.  I mean, I know the basic "rules" and what people prefer in what situations and why, but can't decide for myself, lol

There is a saying that goes, " Never keep all your eggs in one basket." I think it's a good rule of thumb to go by.
