a young lady about to commit a sin, what else would it be, but buying a watch/light?

You need to get out more.

Aluminum really is the best material for a light, great heat dissipation, light, strong, easily machined.

N_N_R, surely you've seen the (green) statue of liberty? It wasn't always that color! Copper oxidizes green

I hadn't really given it much thought what it's made of, lol.

Anyway, it's supposed to be here tomorrow, it was in stock

We expect pictures.

Would not mind a few of the flashlight while you are at it.

Sure, you'll get it .... the pics :D :D :D :D

It hasn't been marked as shipped yet, but the guy said he'd ship today.

Also, I won't have to pay taxes this month, so I'll add some more $$ to fund the light and not feel totally broke, lol

Who cares about taxes, when there's a copper light available

YAY NNR.  I can't wait to hear what you think.  I totally forgot about the copper scent but with all the different scents some ladies wear, lotions, perfumes it may not be as strong.

Guys, you're scaring me with that scent thing :ahhh :ahhh

Won't it just be some sort of metal-like scent?

Oh well. maybe it'll be the first and last copper light I ever buy lol.

BLF Reylight edition starts on moonlight, then med and high (not simultaneously). Stock Lumintop is Med-Low-High.

While you're on the flashlight buying craze, buy the S1 in copper and brass, and the Preon in copper as well.

Yes.  It's not an odor meaning bad smelling.   It's like you say, metallic and I personally don't have an issue with it.

You are gonna love the looks and if the light performs I can see this being a favorite.

Oh, I see, then that's why different reviewers give different UI.

And, no, thanks, I still need food before more copper :D :D

@Aloha,
Actually my regular Lumintop has been my favourite since I got it in September 2014. Then half a year later I bought the LD02 and I've been rotating them, but I can't decide which is my fave favourite, lol. I'm sure I'll love the light, just, if it gets greenish I'll want to clean it somehow.

I stumbled upon a video by selfbuilt which showed them and then made my purchase. I think that was 2013

Nnr the copper will give your hands a real manly smell. Try spraying some wd40 on yourself too, for extra effect

Nahhhh, food is overrated!!! I have transcended this stage and I now feed on light (flashlight light preferably and even better if they're made of copper).

Can you believe it, I'm planning for this to be the only light I buy in 2016  (or just finding excuses and promises to justify it, but shhhhh, that's a secret, don't tell me)

See, there's your problem.  You don't have to justify it.  Not to us anyway.  Maybe to someone else, but they aren't here.

This ^^^

An additional thought is, if you have to explain why you buy ( fill in the blank ) to anyone outside of MTO then you are wasting your time.  You could have already bought it and have in en route  :D

Oh wait you do  :D

MTO is the opposite of Alcoholics Anonymous. We don't encourage each other to stop buying and we don't hold each other accountable for our actions.  And whereas AA will give you a "chip" for abstaining from alcohol for a month or a year, the deeper we sink into multitool madness the more badges mysteriously appear in our signature lines.  A great, unseen force (<cough>  Zoidberg) rewards our increasing levels of insanity with "likes", "badges" and "giveaways" - subtle yet powerful subliminal signals beckoning us into the deep.

Yes, I committed another sin yesterday: had way too much chocolate.
