Leatherman Warranty Appreciation Thread
on: January 31, 2016, 02:01:47 AM
As always, LMs customer service is top notch. I sent my old LM Core in, and a week later, I received a package with this beauty in it.

A brand new SuperTool 300, with a sheath. Thank you, Leatherman.

You got a sheath with your replacement... very cool. What was wrong with the Core?

+1....I got the same treatment when I sent my Blast in and got a Rebar in return.  I live in Pennsylvania, and from the time I shipped the Blast out to Portland to the time my replacement Rebar was on my steps was under a week.  You can't argue with that!

If you send an older tool (say an original super tool) and it's retired, will they automatically send you the newer replacement/equal of it instead of trying to repair it?
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

If you mark it sentimental they will repair it if they are able to. If you don't they will send the new replacement of that or a equivalent model.
