" The Swiss Army of Vehicles", made in the UK
on: February 12, 2016, 08:23:16 AM

From the manufacturer:

Representing a step change in vehicle design, Terrier demonstrates a new generation of multifunctional combat engineer vehicles, delivering uncompromising performance from a medium weight chassis.

A drive-by-wire armoured fighting vehicle, its combination of functions meet the breadth of manoeuvre support activities required of a combat engineer.

Its capabilities range from providing mobility assistance for supported units to delivering counter-mobility, survivability and general engineering tasks.

Terrier is a compact, 32 tonne armoured platform with exceptional mobility. It provides speed of up to 70 km/h alongside outstanding  off road performance, wading capability and air transportability in A400m.

That's the biggest fish scaler I've ever seen on the front of that vehicle. Looks like a back hoe on the rear, which is a pretty good multi-purpose hook.

That Terrier should be advertised as "Every Day Drive" (EDD).

You could easily drive it every day...

...and you would probably go bankrupt because of the fuel economy

But hey, at least you would be protected from your mother-in-law  :ahhh

OK, I'm going to first say CEVs are ugly by nature, but that one is just funny looking. The question I haven't been able to find an answer to is if with two, some chain and a tool box you can swap the front end implements, or if it takes a lot of fiddling about. I'm also not sure I like that a manned vehicle can be remote controlled- boarding and commandeering an armoured bulldozer isn't as brag worthy as a full on tankjacking, but deploy it enough times and someone will borrow one.

That must be the 110m version..   :D

There... fixed the typo
