think ive got a maglite problem 😊

Well this started around 1989,i had too change my job due too a resesion at the end of the 80's, i got a job working at the daily mirror news paper in watford,too get there i had to walk down a very long dark alley we called death alley due to a murder down that alley way,so i decided to buy a large maglite,think it was a 7 d cell type,i thought it would be good as a torch as the alley had no lights and woods both sides and i could also use it as a club  well luckily i never had to use it as a defensive weapon just a torch,well i ended up also getting a mini maglite as well,sadly over the years i moved around so dont have them,possibly my mum has them up her loft well over the last month ive aquired a 6 d cell ,a mini maglite and now 2 more 2 d cell mags,plus ive got a solitaire, think ive got a problem

Well one of them is at my local po as missed it Saturday, and another new 2 d cell on its way,ill wait tillmi have all of them and then pics  the new 2 d cell i got from amazon as was given a voucher as a leaving gift from my old job

I have in the past,still got a fenix and a couple led lendsers,i love the build of maglites plus have a history with these torches,i might mod the older 2 D cell model too a led,ill see,im not really a torch collector

I just told the wife ive another on its way, i got the whole rolling eye routine  and i got do you need another  the funny thing is she doesnt even know about the others  ill have to tell my daughters to be quite about the one im picking up from the po monday

It is.  I was into modded Mag-lites way back before LEDs came on the scene.  It was the only way to get big lumens. Back then, a 60 lumen Surefire 6P was cutting edge.  The bulb burned out after 10 hours, and broke if you dropped it.

  i noticed drop in led set ups on ebay for maglites,do i need go change the battery set up as well
