Just spotted a Victorinox Rangerwood being used by Dave Canterbury, and a Leatherman Blast being used by Dick Strawbridge in an episode of the National Geographic show "Dirty Rotten Survival".  This show is not a "real survival" show (they do not claim to be a "real survival" show either), but I do enjoy watching it, just three guys having some fun in the outdoors, nothing too serious.

Here are the screen shots (and yes, those are Dutch subtitles you see there  ;)):

And this should be the full episode on youtube (not uploaded by me):

I've seen the show and its entertaining.  I like the concept of guy having fun outdoors showcasing their skills in totally random scenarios.

Just finished watching the whole season earlier this week. Good entertainment imo.

I too noticed the tools, but failed to get any screen grabs .

I noticed that they all had access to the Blast as I spotted it in the other guys kits/stashes at various points in the series.

It's too bad the series wasn't renewed when NatGeo sold off their stuff to Fox. :td:

Didn't know that ...

So no new episodes I guess, too bad, because I really liked it  :(.

That's a bummer to hear.  I guess everyone wants "survival" shows .  It was fun seeing those guy and the stuff they got into and created.  Dave got to show us a different side IMO and I really like that dude Dick Strawbridge.   The other guy was good as well and it appeared to be great chemistry between them all.
