Quiet wireless mouse
on: March 30, 2016, 07:05:42 PM
I just bought a shhh mouse and I love it. :D

I guess im not the only one annoyed by clicks as they made the product.

Also when its quiet in the house my wife would stare at me and ask why im clicking so much.  Now I can click as much as I want without generating deafening clicks...

I might have to invest in one, my wife frequently has the exact same complaint, and every mouse I've tested makes that damn annoying clicky sound...

i didn't went to buy a silent mouse.... though i found a way to stop those clicky sounds:
i remapped my Logitech M505 buttons to use the wheel side clicks (that don't make any sound) to work as left and right clicks
-so i can use the wheel as a full mouse: left, right clicks, wheel up and down, center click-
This can be done on Windows using the Logitech SetPoint software or using xinput on linux (cf my old blog post)
Meet me also on youtube & instagram for mostly knives (and multitools) content

You can also bend the clicker in some buttons but if you don't get it just right the button stops working correctly.

Seems neither amazon.co.uk or .es stock them,  and .com doesn't deliver them to Spain

They don't want it to be quiet in your Canadian Spanish household :pok: :D

it is when your wife is studying a degree in English Philology and her desk is beside yours.

Anything I do seems to bother her sometimes, so repeated mouse clicks are a big annoyance.

I see a variety of options on fleabay for about 15eur plus 5 shipping or more (a few cheeky ones where the shipping is more than the cost of the mouse )
