Tornado siren this AM
on: April 12, 2016, 03:58:58 PM
The entire county where I live had a rude awakening this morning at 6am when the Tornado sirens went off. It was a software malfunction according to the authorities that caused a false alarm.

Phew! I hope the warning system hasn't become sentient because you're trouble if it has.

This is kinda scary.  I sure hope they have sorted out any further malfunctions.

That truly is my nightmare... I mean better than a Tornado, still I would probably get a panic attack :ahhh
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Glad it was a false alarm!

Also glad we don't get tornadoes here as I'd sleep right through the warning.

I was sitting on the beach in Hawaii when I heard the most God awful siren.  I see tourist packing up their beach stuff while the locals look alert.  I sit not exactly knowing what to do but am alert as well.

It stops and all is back to normal however I was admittedly bit unnerved.

I'm glad it was a false alarm too but dang man thats scary.

Glad it was a false alarm bud :tu:
One thing that's a plus about Downeast Maine is that we don't have to worry about tornadoes or earthquakes.  Slight hurricane at times, but more the after effects of on that passes by.  Some light flooding occasionally, but not much serious to worry about.
