Floods in Morpeth

I thought i better mention this.  :) As most of you know Northumberland has had a LOT of rain recently and areas of morpeth have been flooded people are being evacuated as we speak.My parents are taking Evacuees in to help and i will be going over in about 10 Mins when my Uncle phones me.My grandad is currently at his house(been staying with my parents since the death of my gran)getting spare bedding,Sleeping bags,Food and other bits and bobs like torches to help Evacuees and SAR teams(thats why i am away)So will not be on till tomorrow morning-afternoon time. :(

Well I'm back.Ended up kipping down in Morpeth high school with the evacuees.Even though peoples houses had been flooded and they had lost alot of belongings it did not stop them having a laugh and a lark.They even managed to open the kitchens and have a bit of scoff and a brew.I got home at about 10 'o' clock and am leaving at 2 to help with "clearing up".
