Yes!!! If Victorinox release the PX in black and other colors, I would snatch them up. I have noticed a blue PX but never could determine a source. I voted red in the recent survey for the PX as the 2016 MT of the Year because that was already the majority preference but if multiple colors were available, I would go with black first, followed by blue, green and red.

Let's hope we have some color choices like the Cadet and Pioneer!

Ok. Here are the best close ups I can get. I did not cut the strips perfectly but I don’t see any gaps.

I plan to order more of the Nite Ize clips for a few more of my ALOX units.

Finally, my first alox. I suddenly miss the small blade for peeling apples and a toothpick. But this 93mm feels like a beast

I had the same feeling when I switched to alox, but carrying a Classic or a SwissCard with it solves the problem

What about nail polish? It’s like model paint but has the brush built in?

You're right. So I'm now reconfiguring my SAKs and will put the 58mm Rogue in my other pocket also.

The keyring is really a hotspot. What was Victorinox thinking!

And now I understand why jaya doesn't like the scissors nail nick, it's too recessed and on the "wrong" side.

But I still really like this beast.

Both the PX and Minichamp Alox gets my vote... As to which one to get, really depends on priorities first... Then you can get the other, once pocket funds allows for it...

I've got them both and they are both very desirable SAKs with differing capabilities. The question is which one do you need--a small multi-tool that packs many tools in a tiny package or a larger, heavier duty tool stressing a more useful size blade, scissors, inline awl and openers/drivers? The PX was my first Alox purchase and the only 93mm alox to offer scissors. For me, the larger, heavier duty PX is too much to give up.

Pioneer X, for the win.  :D

I got my Pioneer X not long after they were available here in the US. I've had one in my pocket ever since. Lost the first one I bought for a time, and I went through withdrawal for about a week waiting for DLT Trading to send me another one. My regular, non-X Pioneers are just not the same.

I've wondered where to get the occasional blue, red or black Pioneer X that I have seen on this forum. I finally discovered that they are from Swiss Bianco (Googled Swiss Bianco yesterday and followed the link to the site). I noticed that they have a black Pioneer X available for $80. I am tempted but it is more than I want to spend considering that the PX I have will probably continue to be the one I will use.

Yes I've seen those as well but I refuse to pay that much for a SAK.

Given that a PX can still be had for less than $40, we would be paying twice as much for a color option that will fade with regular use. That's the part that doesn't make sense to me.

It seems that most times that I need to use a blade, it's from a conventional 91mm Cellidor SAK.  Well, yesterday I needed to cut some paracord and I had my Alox storage drawer out and the PX was the closest at hand...I am always impressed with these blades from the 93mm Alox SAKs! They feels so much more substantial than the 91mm blades.
