I quit my job of 10 years about a month ago because of various reasons. I was extremely hard working and loyal but they were very abusive and didn't appreciate me. My wife and I made the decision for me to leave it all behind. The stress, the aggravation and toll it took on my family.

I applied for a store managers position for Verizon Wireless and they have me training as an associate first. I passed my test yesterday with a 90 and I start in store training tomorrow. Wish me luck, this is different than the grocery industry but I love the mobile industry. Here we go....

Congratulations! Time to start carrying a CyberTool? :pok:

Also, do the Verizon phone jockeys a favor, and explain contracts, costs and plan changes fully (and make sure they understand) before sending a customer out the door. (I used to be a Verizon call center rep, those confused customers were easily the worst part of the job). :tu:

No cybertool, may have to look into that. Gotta get a new toy hehe I wouldn't normally have the courage to do so but we had to make a change because the environment i was in wasn't healthy.

Awesome David!  I know about moving out of your comfort zone, after a decade in the paint business I've suddenly discovered I'm a pretty damn good warehouse recieving guy. Best of luck to you?
