Who's got the oldest Supertool 300?

The Supertool 300 became available in September 2009 to buy and of course I ordered one of these as soon as I could :D Just now looking at my datecode I realized that it is from July 2009 0709 in both handles so I was wondering if there were anyone else out there with an early 300 that has datecodes earlier than 0909.  I am sure there were several members here that like me got the ST 300 as soon as they became available so let's see what those datecodes are :pok: :D We can put it in same format as we did with the Micra :cheers: It doesn't have to be an old one, all datecodes are welcome ;) :D

The handles on mine were replaced under warranty , I can't remember the exact date on the original handles but I it was from 2010. The replacement one are from 2014.

Also I remember Bob saying that he had an OG Supertool that had datecodes that overlapped the introduction to the ST 200 :o I would like to see the newest datecodes of the OG Supertool as well :cheers:

Think I got mine new around 2011-2012 so they cant´t be very old but i will check.

I think I have 5x ST300's, but can only find 4x of them.  The oldest is 0909/1009.

Mines not. And why two handles with different dates? (Probably been answered) I still got a ways to go for warranty coverage  :D

Edit: obviously i get that it wasnt built in a day. What's the biggest spread in dates is a interesting question...

Not all of the parts are made in the same month.  One handle is stamped in January, and the other in February.  Then maybe they are assembled in March.  Something like that.

Yeah we have some members with handles that are years apart and it's not even from warranty work :ahhh We had a thread some years ago and if I have the time I will look for it :cheers:

All the handles are basically in a big bin and they just pull them from there and assembly so some of the parts stay in there  for a month or a few months before being used sometimes :tu:

I've got two ST300's, one stainless and one BO.  The stainless one has date codes 911 in both handles, while the BO one has 1109 in one handle and 510 in the other (there's also a small difference in the BO coating between the two).

Oh, and my Original Supertool (my first Leatherman, bought back in '94) has date code 1094 in both handles  ;).

The date codes in the original ST has been discussed before and if my memeory hasnt failed me I think Philby has the oldest. I just looked at 14 oST and my oldest oST is 0894 both handles.     :)
