Multitasker Twist as an EDC Article
on: June 30, 2016, 11:45:52 PM
This week I have been catching up with news and articles about multitools and found this one particularly interesting.

Gear Institute: The Multitasker Twist brings Unexpected Functionality to the Field

Is about the Multitasker Twist and how it can be used effectively as a EDC multitool for several tasks, including Multitool Modding and Maintenance.  :o

What I like about this design is that the driver is centered within the body of the tool, which most drivers in Multitools and SAKs are not.

As an automation engineer I use drivers a lot, and I can count with the fingers of one hand the times when I have used my trusty EDC multis for that purpose solely.

It got me thinking “outside of the box" and now instead of a regular driver based multi I am really entertaining the idea of adding a Twist (pun intended  :D) to my EDC in the near future.

Hope you like the article

I've had my eye on this guy for a while, if I can find a better price on one it might come home with me. But I've got a couple builds going on, so... not at the moment.

All I can say, I have quite a few older Multitaskers, and  they have proven to be of very high quality.

You are right Chako !  :salute: and that is precisely the reason which motivates me to get one of those instead of any other random brand of driver based multitools.

Looks like a well built tool  If you get one let us know about quality, durability and how you like or dislike it :tu:

Sure Ponch ! I will keep all of you posted as soon as i get one  :tu:
