I'm curious as to what MTOs favorite Leatherman is. And since I know it's hard to pick just 1, pick 2. Your favorite and your runner up, backup or compliment. And list them here.

(I would assume there has been a thread like this before, but I haven't seen it in rotation. And, who doesn't like a good poll?!)

Easy one... the only two Leathermans I didn't sell off:
Charge AL - great pliers, great scissors, OHO, great bit kit. Best overall MT I saw after the Spirit X.
SkeleTool CX - great knife, great bit kit, very light and ergonomic...

Plus they are both real lookers  :drool:

Haven't used a Signal yet but I love it!

Skeletool's handle kept biting into my palm everytime I used the pliers :(

The signals hammer is awesome! Really great implement.

I have a freestyle that's skeletool'esque, and it pinches me fairly often. But it's a nice small plier with a knife. Easy to pocket.

Surge is my No.1, I carry it every day. If I wanted something in a bag as backup it would be a wave, though I'd really like a crunch (or 2) at sometime.  Although I carry a Juice in the evening a lot of the time, I don't like it much really, it's only because of the stupid knife laws over here.  Need to change it for a PST, or something like that.

Charge TTi as my favourite (surprise surprise huh?) but my second choice is trickier to decide.

In the end I went for the PST. For all the Charge's practicality - the PST is the tool that really captured my imagination and got me interested in multitools as a hobby - so I have to pick it really.
I used to come here a lot.

Likewise. I selected a Wave as my primary and then a Blast as my secondary. Noted it wasn't up there, thus I am the single person thus far to have selected the "other" option.

Tough question, since most people own several.  :multi:

Voted for Rebar and the Micra.
I do love my Charge AL, and my PST. The Sideclip is nice and elegant, but half its implements are flatheads, so it's out. My Surge was not the best unit that made it out the factory, so I am not impressed with the quality. Same with the 4 Wingmen that I got sent.
My S4 and P4 are adorable, but are disco'd, and my Micra performs handsomely anyway, so why replace it?

There's just something about old-school box design, and the way it merged with modern design, in the Rebar.
The Micra was the first LM I bought, and has been on my keychain ever since. I added a Vic Signature, but still carry the Micra, because I like it too much to leave it at home. There's a reason they still make it. There are larger, more capable tools, but the Micra is just wonderful. If you do not have one, get one.

I might have chosen a ST300 or even the mini, but I don't have any.

In practical use its easy to decide however when a poll comes around for some reason I struggle.  While I have "favorites" they may not necessarily be my users so I voted "favorite users". 

Wave is my go to and has been since I got it. 

Surge is very close, very close. 

Favorites however in design, looks, and innovation if you will are.........   Crunch and MUT.  I find the Crunch to be a wonderfully attractive tool.  The design is pretty great as well.  When I got my MUT I personally was blown away.  I didn't really get on with my Skeletool but the MUT spoke to me.  I love the way it looks and operates.

My favorite would have to be the Wave, or a modded Wave.  My second choice would be the Pulse I believe.  I like the load-out, the fact that the tools lock open, and the size isn't much bigger than a PST.

Sorry for going boring, but my favorite tools are those that I use most and I use some tools more just because they are good what they are doing.
So Charge number 1 (pref. TTi, but others go too) and Wave number 2.
I love many Leatherman tools, hell that is why I'm so obsessed with them.

I'm totally in for the classics

Micra and ST300.
Micra is better than PS4, Squirts and those, slimmer and sturdier. It's tge quintaessential keychain MT for me.
The ST300 is one of those immortal tools, great classics, that can  handle everything, have the basics for a lifetime of use and a sturdy, a clean and sexy construciton...all in all I much prefer that to my Wave, Surge, etc. Beats the Core for its replaceable wire cutters, but they're almost the same (I hate plastic on the handles, though, o in that regard the ST300 is much better)

Combined, there's really very few things one can't do with those 2

Voted. For me it's the Wave and Skeletool. The wave is one of the best overall multis in the industry and the Skeletool is one of the most unique. Gotta love Leathermans.
