  • Find me if you can...
Little do you know I have a soft spot for Japan... 11 out of 12 SOG knives I have are Seki-born. So, it is a crime that I have not had a JP PST badge yet... until today. This piece was acquired for over a month now.

This PST was listed as used, with a few rust spots, probably reason why I had enough time to do "best offer". Turned out, the piece was in very good condition after some clean up with a 4" wired wheel. I used the wheel in manner of a brush, meaning I held the wheel and brushed the rust, gunk... off

One of the aspects I looked for is the plier head condition. There is no evident the pliers were used, with all serrations in original shape.  :tu:

Main blade still has sharp factory edge  :tu:

There are still some rust spots inside the channels I overlooked. Will clean again tomorrow. There is like a thin coating in the channel. Is it normal?
