Did I mention that Def and I got lost on the way to L.L. Beans the next morning? Yep, we did indeed. :-[ We spent what seemed like forever floundering around, going this way and that, back and forth, with no sense at all. Our direction was completely messed up. :(

It wasn't until much later that we realized we'd gone down a dead-end road! :D

Thanks Bob , sounds like a barrel of fun .Bob you were fortunate the Genus just gave you a peck & did not prune a finger off  :o :D. I might email Zen imports to see if they have any old stock of those Juices but I think it will be a long shot . They were good when my Carabiner watch that came with my Surge was broken , they would have wanted to be given what the misses paid for it. It was funny Bob when you mentioned John's sheath for his Mini , I was looking at  my one the other night & wondering if it was specifically for the Mini or if was a generic one LM made for It's smaller MT's. I had no idea they were a bit rare   8) , I think I was a bit lucky picking up my NIB + sheath Mini in New York. Sounds like you had a great time thanks again for sharing Bob  .

Yes, L.L. Bean was a famous outfitter in the early 1900's. Nowadays the name L.L Bean usually refers to the large Outdoors Store and mail order company.

We visited the store in Freeport Maine on Saturday. It is actually a whole grouping of stores! More like an L.L. Bean village than anything else.  :)

Here they are, with a few captions added:

Swapping stories and passing tools around, it doesn't get any better than this 8)

The reason Def prefers one-hand opening blades is because........

The reason Bob will no longer make jokes at Def's expense is because........ :(

Looking forward to next year fellas! :salute:

It was a great time, and it was too bad that Joe and Hillary could only spend a couple of hours with us.

Of course I'd thought that three days there would be a little too much time, and we'd probably get bored, but as it turns out, the three days we had was barely enough to cover the shopping we did!
