Grab Expert RAW off the galaxy store for way more control of the camera

Pretty happy with the battery life on the S23,  I made it all day on one charge with plenty to spare.

Yes, guess it's more of a Samsung version.

Steve, I can't remember but I believe that on my S8+ I could only copy and paste things 1 at a time but when I got the S20+ I had a clipboard on my keyboard (the icon looks like a small clipboard :D ) and can copy and paste many things from it :woohoo:

I usually copy all the links for the Imgur pics I want to post that day and use it like that  It has really made posting different pics much more efficient :like:

I added a pic and the icon is circled

You can also log into Imgur (I use Chrome) then scroll down to Desktop Site, then go to the pull down menu in Imgur and go to Images to get to your images to copy the links

Sometimes it takes a few tries because it wants you to download the app, I never use the app and only use Imgurs website on my phone :tu: for uploading and the img links

Hopefully you can get to the Images page (I leave it open in a tab always) and saves from having to use your computer :salute:

I'm getting used to my new phone now and have it all set the way I like it. I'm really liking it a lot, so much faster than my old phone. I'm still learning the new camera but it's much better than the old one. So far I've been ending the day with around 60% battery which is a huge improvement over the S7 which would need to be charged throughout the day.

Enjoy it while you can- after a year or two most phone batteries will lose their potency.

I'm going to try out the Battery protection mode to see if it will prolong the battery life. It puts a cap on the charge at 85% since apparently charging to 100% all the time is what wears out the battery faster.

That should help, but to be honest your experience should be good in general over the years. It's not just a large battery, the gen 2 Snapdragon is more efficient, which is part of why you're seeing such long runtimes.

Good to know   :tu:  I figure I'll do what I can to keep the battery healthy. I also set a routine so that it won't fast charge overnight when regular charge is all that's really needed.

If 85% doesn't get me through the day it's easy to switch it off.

I sometimes use Flight Mode to save battery, especially if I'm somewhere remote as I reckon the constant searching for a signal is quite draining. (Anecdotal)
Quicker to get back 'online' too.

Took this in RAW last night in my yard with a tripod and the S23 Ultra  It has been edited now but I am wondering that the different colors it is picking up in the edits are possibly the true colors of the stars in them :o

Set it for 4 minutes in astrophoto mode :salute:

Cool!  :tu:

As for the true colours of the stars, they will be modified to some degree as the light passes through our atmosphere.

Cool pic Poncho, how are you liking your new phone ?

Thanks Steve  :hatsoff: I am really liking it so far :tu:

My S20 + had the same RAM and since it had a MicroSD the storage was similar but since I got the free upgrade in storage because or the pre-order, the S23 Ultra has way plenty of space for me :ahhh :woohoo: :like:

The processor is faster and I can tell a difference but the biggest thing for me is battery life :salute: it has a bigger battery and me being a fairly heavy user, my old phone was having to be charged at least once or twice a day  this one lasts me all day and I am very happy about that :woohoo:

I have been using Samsung Buds of some sort for the last 3 years as well and the newest version of them has really upped the bar :tu: I always keep one in for answering calls and I can hear much better on a loud construction site  :salute: the Buds 2 Pro (gotten way cheaper with my pre-order credit) have a better quality sound and although I am not an audio guy, the difference is enough that even I can really tell :woohoo:

The camera is a definite upgrade, I have had some great cameras from Samsung over the years but this is the first Ultra I have had and I am super happy with it :woohoo: I am still trying to figure out all the settings and best ways to get better pics

So, overall, I rambled on to say that I am happy with it and like it :D
