Victorinox Damasteel Limited Edition 2026 - Evoke 1/7000

The new Victorinox Damasteel Limited Edition will be available from april 10. Its a model Evoke with wooden scales. Its limited to 7000 pieces. Price: CHF 379.- / EUR 399.

What do you think of it? Will you buy/order one?

Thanks Elsi,

Looks nice - But not for me - I have a few of the Damascus LEs - And like them very much
But finances are down at the moment and I don't need any more SAKs    :o    :D    :cry:

I was thinking that we had already had an Evoke - But it was a HunterPro, although of course the Evoke is in the Annual Alox LEs
I was wondering if it would be a Synergy this year!!

It will be a no for me as well.

I have two HUNTERS, a PRO with black nylon handles and a Pro ALOX.

TWO BIG LOCKING FOLDERS.

EVOKE is the same thing just given a new identity.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

I totaly understand your opinions. I m also no fan of the evoke. I hoped for a Synergy X with damascus blade. But I already have the 2010-2025 damascus knives. So what else should I do but to buy it ?  :P
I m glad I m not a collector of the christmas or the chinese zodiac series... otherwise it would ruin me.

Vic already did the Hunter Pro in 2020, so this is kind of lazy in my opinion.  I’ll buy one, but I was really hoping for a Cadet X!

^^^ Despite everyone in the SAK world wanting an 84mm X model (eg Cadet) - I think Vic have made it pretty clear it is never going to happen

And certainly not as a Damascus!!   :(

Although why/how they can develop a White Stuff Camper with 'one-off' tooling for all blades - And not 84mm scissors - Is completely beyond me

Was hoping for a Synergie X Alox. Maybe next year...

Had it been a Synergy, I would've bought two -- one to carry and one to keep.  I don't own any of their larger knives and don't plan on it, so this one's a hard pass for me.

^^^ Interesting point M on the large knives - I too am not a large knife person

And I will never forget the shock I got when I received my first Wenger 130mm Ranger - It just seemed too big!!

However I also could not resist the 2021 Annual Alox Orange and so I bought the Hunter Pro Alox
And am very happy that I did - I have even used it a few times - And it does feel good to have such a strong tough blade.
However I wont be moving away from my 91s, 85s and 58s any time soon as my EDCs

Just received an email from Victorinox Australia encouraging me to buy the 2026 Damascus Evoke
