Day 22 Friday
First up is a pic in a tree from a few min ago.
And second is a pic with my Cold Steel Recon 1 XL that I put in the edge tool section's Cold Steel thread at 3am this morning
Edit
It helps if I save and load both pics properly

That's not so bad
One of the landmarks at a friend hunting lease was called Evil Tree.
Mainly because it was this big triple pine tree grown together with all these chains and twisted bits of metal sprouting out of it because it been used as a as a winch and a crain by the steam engine repair shop that had occupied the property 100 years ago. The tree just grew up around all the tackle left hanging in it.
It really did look like something out of a horror movie because the items weren't so much attached to it as they were growing out of it at this point.

Day 23 Saturday
Today its all about flashlights. These are my daily users.
StreamLight ProTac 2L - my edc, always on me. Great light till you blind yourself with strobe when you want low. Prone to getting pretty hot when kept on more than a few minutes.
MagLight 3D LED - one of 2 lights I use for work replaced previous 3D Xenon
Bushnell 65L cap light- I use this around the house constantly. The red mode is a huge bonus, though I rarely clip it.
Trustfire whatever- my other work light
this is one of those random Chinese lights that claims huge outputs, but rarely deliver. It actually isn't so bad and it's pretty bright. One of its big features is that runs off of chargeable 18650s. I am sure that if I had the extension tubes to add more batteries it probably would hit the Lumen number stamped on the side quite easily and will probably over heat just like the Streamlight

Day 24 Sunday
Today is dedicated to the forgotten tool. We all have that blade or function in our Leathermans and Swiss Army knives that we forget exists until after we need it, and have made do with something else.
In my case it's not the can opener in the first pic,it's the wire stripper at the bottom of the can opener. I only mention this because earlier I had to replace a plug (no I did not get photos of that) but I ended up doing all the wire stripping with the main blade and SAK wire stripper. It was only after that I remembered that there was a really good wire stripper on the can opener of my LM.
So I encourage everyone to look at thier edc tools and see if there's a function you have forgotten.

Both the SAK and ST300 are getting a work out with mounts, screws, saftey wire, hangers, lights, mesh, packages, and about 20 of these skulls & ghosts that all need fresh batteries.

Day 26 Tuesday
A week ago I ordered a MTO 10yr ball cap from Grant, and it came in yesterday
I know I'm about a month late for doing the 10yr X, but I felt it was appropriate.
Bonuses with the hat were a decal, and a bottle of "uncle def's tool oil".

A spooky bar
Do plastic eyeballs simmering in the volcano stove over a nice toasty LED tea light count as outdoor cooking

Day 29 Friday
A Craftsman bit adapter that works with the ST300.
Many of you that have seen my EDC photos or that pic of my EDC bag may have noticed the mini wrench set up I have put together with a Craftsman ratcheting box end a gator grip socket with drill adapter and a little blue Craftsman bit holder. Today it occurred to me to see if the square socket on the other side of that bit holder that's meant to interface with a quarter inch ratchet would fit on one of the screwdrivers on the ST300 as it turns out it does. The medium flat screwdriver fits solidly diagonaly across the corners of the square, giving the st300 the ability to accept regular 1/4in bits.
The Craftsman part no is 41380 and usualy is arround 4usd w 1bit and random colors.
