I'd go with a Cold Steel tomahawk (in any flavor)...Yes, it requires some work, but it's a fun project and a useful tool. Very light, cheap, and versatile.
I've a trailhawk and a norse. And a lot of people cut the handles down to whatever length they prefer.
naaah,if u need axe for choppin etc,and not for openin crates,bashing skulls,or throwing,and u like it light and small,id suggest this,i carry one,does all the tricks needed in trails:fiskars 500,in your country it might be gerber somethin (Image removed from quote.)
