Wenger's Realtree scales - how durable?
on: October 24, 2016, 08:19:15 PM
How durable are the patterns on Wenger's Realtree scales?

I had almost forgotten that I have a couple of Wenger Snows. The little one is basically brand new so I am a little hesitant to use it - it seems a shame to wreck a beautiful SAK unless you really need to.
Does anyone use Realtrees in Reallife? How do the scales look after a few months of use?
Or are they all shelf queens?

I have some used 85's in Realtree and you can see the wear in them but NOTHING like the Wenger Snifes    :ahhh  ....those finishes wear off super easy.

The 85's still look ok and seem fairly durable for pocket carry but, the camo is still just screened on so.....if it were me, I'd not carry the new ones.

Send them to me and I'll report back to you on how well they wear!
