Ah yes my favorite. I'm like a bower bird with blue objects. if there's a choice I always choose blue. Blue Lego classic spaceman is my favorite minifigure for sure.

I have this Tinker (and have seen other SAKs) that seems to be a lighter transparent blue than the standard...you can see it next to the Classic...it's lighter...maybe it's just worn down so there's less thickness and therefore less pigments?

Hey James - Nice Tele! Is it a Fender or a custom?

You're gonna make me look aren't you. Well firstly I probably have a nice match for Bill, whatever his type may be. In my "torsos" bin I only found one vintage blue torso with gold emblem (I believe when the blue color was introduced they had already switched from white to gold emblem). I also have a keychain one, though as you see it has the newer style helmet, since the true vintage helmet was out of production when they issued this keychain.

I have a bunch of other minifigs floating in my "unsorted" bins...but those would all be newer...then I remembered that I used 3 blue spacemen when I built this all-blue spaceship about 15 years ago (yes, still partially together and covered with dust).

I also have the one from the 70816 "Benny's Spaceship" set, as well as this keen hat I bought at Legoland.

The Tele is a Warmoth neck and an unkown maker 2-piece ash body with Dimarzio pickups and black hardware. It's gross and dirty and needs to be cleaned.

Nice one James - that's a lot of torso's there! Some real lego golgotha! Sweet geetar - I played a Tele Thinline for years and love them.

The old space helmet was best I thought - nicer than when they just used motorbike helmets. My favourite minifigs were the old skool spacemen (yellow) and pirates/redcoats. Love the Benny minifig!
