swisstool rs without wood saw?

made an offer on this swisstool on an auction site without really scrutinizing the pictures. second look, i realized there was no wood saw on the plain edged blade side.

was there ever an edition that did not have the saw, or is it missing because it broke off?

I'm guessing the seller just failed to pull the saw out. Intentionally or not, is anyone's guess. But it looks in decent shape.

you're probably right. blowing the picture up, it looks like you can see the top edge of the saw, still recessed in the handle.
