Victorinox Explorer (not Plus) - £19.95 (UK shop)
on: October 13, 2016, 12:01:36 PM

I don't know if this is a permanent or a temporary promotion, but I recently purchased a Victorinox Explorer for £19.95 from here, and they still seem to be selling them. Delivery was about 2 days and it arrived in clam shell packaging. It doesn't have Plus scales, but otherwise looks like a great price to me!

I bought one as a donor for a Yeoman conversion, pity the same place doesn't sell discounted Compacts (the other donor required). The cheapest UK store I found for a Compact was this one, at £25.96 with free P&P (for a red one):

I've bought one because I don't have one and can't pass up a deal like that  :tu:

The Explorer is a great knife and has all the tools I want, I just find 4 layers too thick for comfortable pocket carry, hence the Yeoman conversion. It sits nicely in the Victorinox 2-4 layer leather belt pouch, though

You won't regret it Kev - it's a great SAK. The mag glass is brilliant as is the in-line philips.  :salute:
