Mags made that himself :salute: :like:

I have my inline awl now :ahhh Courtesy of Hiraethus :salute: :like:

Now just have to take some time and get it all together and will have a Master Ranger :dd: :like:

I also think I have decided to keepthe opening layer as I use the straight driver on the bottle opener way to much as a driver and pryer  :D

Although this is my first SAK mod I know the feeling you speak of well :tu: I have built many things through the years and even in my own home I did a very big majority of the work and I am very proud and accomplished with this :salute: :like:

My perfect mod would be a Spirit S complementary transluscent scales plus 91mm SAK, having all the tools the XAVT (or XLT for light carriers) has and Spirit S hasn't. Simply.

I finally got around to putting  my Master Ranger together last night :woohoo: :woohoo:

I was able to reuse the backside tools pin as it was barely long enough for me :o :D

Got it together then cut the stock shorter, then filed it down some before penning :tu:

Next I peened it and filed it smooth

Very happy with my peening :tu: Then dressed it up with some nice translucent blue scales (also courtesy of Hiraethus) :dd: :like: :like:

Bravo Poncho! That is a fantastic SAK! Can't wait to hear what you think of it in action. The in-line awl is amazing!

Thanks Mags :salute: If not for wanting the inline awl in it so bad I could have had this mod out months ago but I knew that it would be so much better with it in there :dd: :like: :like:

Totally worth the wait. I think Hiraethus sent me the one for Pikachu but I had to buy a beater SI for the Greenwood awl. It would be great if Vic fitted them in 91mm as standard (or at least as an alternative to the small blade). It's so much more useful than the back side awl. How many things have you 'enhanced' with holes then?  :D

Today was not a hole enhancing day so only a few  :D I agree it is an option that should be available on the 91mm line :salute: :like: :like:

I do not believe in a perfect SAK. But I would very much like my three single-layer alox SAKs modded into one, as (imperfectly) shown in the second pic. I already thought of a name for this mod (Swiss Congress) but since I have neither the tools nor the skills to make it come true, it might take a while. Unless someone can help me out? I would like the mod to be peened not torxed.

I'm thinking of modding a Swisschamp to:
Large blade with small blade, metal saw, wood saw, magnifier with philips, opener layer.
Backside: awl, chisel, hook, small screwdriver and hook.

Nice concept... large blade, small blade, electrician blade and pruner blade... but isn't it missing the serrated blade... ah ah ah

It is missing a serrated blade, yes, and an awl and saw too. But I already have those in my Carver. I'm specifically opting for a set of small blades here. They could be added to the Carver I'm sure but then it would maybe get a little bulky for my taste.

I'm thinking of modding a Swisschamp to:
Large blade with small blade, metal saw, wood saw, magnifier with philips, opener layer.
Backside: awl, chisel, hook, small screwdriver and hook.
The hook is specific to the scissors layer, I think.
