You just had to look at the same link David posted above to see the PowerLock came out in 1998.  :D

I had thought it would be easy!  I didn't realize it would involve so much math!  :D

But yeah Poncho, you got it right, so give us a new question!

Hm, can't say I'm qualified to ask trivia questions..
Here's one: what four scale variations did the Safari Hunter + related GAK models come in? Not including special editions.

If you are an MTO member, you are qualified!

Good question!  I think I know the answer, but I'll let someone else have a go.  :D

Very easily since they aren't listed on the Mulitool Time Line.

I guess we will have to rectify that.  Do you recall what years they came out?

I've spent a lot of time looking, with no results. The Pocket PowerPlier came out around 1996 i believe, but I cant find any evidence to support that. And i'm pretty sure the PowerPlier is even earlier than that. (ParaTool definitely came before all of them though)

I'll send Bob a message and see if he knows, and if he doesn't then maybe I'll check with SOG.

This seems like something we should know though.   :ahhh

Well it didn't take Bob long to respond:

According to my archives,  the PP first showed up in the SOG catalog in 1995, and the PPP in 1996

I guess easy questions like that don't tax his database too hard!

I can think of at least a dozen Swiss Army Knights here that can answer this one in their sleep.

The question was 'scale' variations, not just color variations. Numerous others, including black Mauser, green German army,  green NATO, red fireman. There are also rumors of black German police and grey German navy.
