I just recently completed my first alox mod for EDC purposes...

Started by dissassembling a Pioneer X and a Pioneer.... Swapped the scissors on the Pio X with a spare scissor from previous 91mm mods... Added an inline phillips following Syph's trademark 2in1 layer...

Now I'm a happy man... Been wanting soo long for an alox which is just right for my EDC needs... and its Black... also has the same thickness as a Yeoman...

My manual peening skills are bad actually... for pre-peening, I just chuck the pin on an impact drill and hit with a slight angle on a flat steel surface... walaa, pin head done in seconds... fits snugly on the front scale holes... glad I read this neat trick... just forgot where though... most likely in another forum...

Now the back side is a different story... had to do manual peening... I wish I had a nail/rivet punch with the correct diameter (around 4mm) but the biggest I had was 2.4mm (ideal for peening on 58mm models) :faceplm:
