Hi everyone, just bought this Marlboro SAK on a whim. No idea what model it is. Worst action I've ever seen, looks like maybe some heat discoloration on the blade and pliers tips (how and why?) and a bent scissors spring. Can't complain too much for 8 dollars though! Any info is appreciated, sorry for bad pics.

looks like it is a "OUTDOORSMAN"  < edit> "TROUBLESHOOTER" (thanks Jaya  :salute: )

They were a giveaway by Marlboro........
When you bought a pack or carton of cigs..... there was a lil square on the side.....they were called "MILES" a pack was so many miles....and a carton had more on it......... you collected the MILES and sent in for a CATALOG of items you could exchange yer MILES for.
I have owned 4 diff SAK's, a parka jacket,a fleece pull over ,and a HUGE duffle bag , which my father inlaw still uses to this day :D

It was a way to get teens and young adults to smoke more when I was in high school........... :whistle:

The "TRAIL GUIDE" model is my personal Fav. SAK   8) :tu: :cheers:

Yep!  A great pattern BTW! It can also be found as a reg catalog item in standard red scales.

Very nice!  They are iconic and in wonderful shape!  I'm a non-smoker but have to admire beauty!
