Its a cube with a bunch of switches and knobs and things on it that are supposed to keep your hands busy.  It allows you to satisfy your fiddling cravings without annoying people the way flicking open a knife, flipping coins or tapping your pen on the table does.

You know, all of the annoying things probably the vast majority of MTO members do, especially when they get a new toy.... :D

The first few days I had the Crunch I could't put the darn thing down.  At first I wanted to master opening it with one hand.... after I had done that I found it had just become insanely addictive, and even when I put it down a minute later it would somehow be in my hand again getting flicked open and closed....   :ahhh

Look back at the two pics I posted, it's a cube that has a joystick like side, something that just spins, a rocker switch, a ball with a bike lock like gear, and a five pin section that click. All something to satisfy one of your nerves, like for someone who has to click there pens, and other stuff like Grant said,

I see on the site it says to flip the rocker switch slowly for no sound, or quicky to make it click, so I guess there is supposed to be sound on it.

I got a PS4 (like 3 or 4 weeks ago) as my big gift from my wife.  Other than that, mostly cash, and little things like snacks, Axe gift set, and not sure what else off the top of my head.

Got a "fruit"-basket, some spices, another bottle of vodka, two more cooking books a food storage jar and a pile of movie tickets.

Well I got three:  DragonBall Xenoverse 2, The Witcher 3 and Skyrim Special Edition.  DBX2 is the only one I've played so far, mostly because I know the other two will be time consuming and will take several months each.  It's a fun game, but probably not quite as enjoyable if you're not a fan of the source material.  I think Skyrim will be next.  I had it on PS3 and played it most of this year (yeah I was quite late to the party on that one) and loved it.

I'm very difficult to get gifts for so I was pleasantly surprised his year.

Fissler pressure cooker, Vic Winter White, potassium permanganate and magnesium powder. I also got a nice portrait of my son but I can't get that in the picture.

Magnesium for fire starting, Potassium permanganate will work as a fire starter if combined with glycerine, purifies water, disinfects wounds, deals with fungal infections on hands and feet, treat canker sores and makes a very effective marker in the snow, not bad for a tube of purple powder  :salute:

I just picked up my Andrzej Woronowski titanium Plus scales today from the Post Office because i was out of town for Christmas. I ordered them back in June and they finally arrived. Andrzej does amazing work and not only were the scales the Plus scales so I am able to put a pen in a slot, but he also made sure to put in the pin slot. My Swiss Champ, which I got for my birthday in April, now has some Christmas scales on it.

My sister knows that I like tools--in particular, multi-tools--so she decided to get me something special. I had been using my Swiss Champ's knife, scissors, pliers and even pen during the holiday and after I opened the multi-tool she got me, she told me, "Now you don't have to carry that one [Swiss Champ] around with you. This one does everything." This $15 multi-tool isn't likely to displace my Swiss Champ any time soon, but it definitely has some personality.

This is a 16-in-1 tool that comes with an axe, hammer, pliers, among other tools.

I am sure you can figure out what most of the tools are. As you can see from the second picture, there is even a file on the side of the serrated blade.

This tool is a little too heavy and bulky to carry around and the axe is nearly useless, being so small but for $15, it is decent quality.

Edit: Size comparison

I just found a 3 blade stockman style knife (very beat up) on the road as I drove along this morning.

So far I've been able to make out "Henry Boker" and a Pelican stamp on the blade.

It might be too far gone to save, but we'll see what I can do.

That'll do for me for a gift :)

As I sit here trying to explain to my toddlers just how old I am, I realize I never posted what I got for Christmas.

Somehow my wife managed to snag an NES Mini at retail price :tu:  So as I play Super Mario and Legend of Zelda with my kids, they have no idea why I thought this was a great present :)
