Refurbishing one of my late 80's Small Tinker's
on: February 05, 2017, 09:50:57 PM
Decided to give a quick refurbish to one of my late 80's small tinker's. It was needing some TLC and the scales where getting a little loose, so it got a warm soapy bath and a nice scrub  :D
The scales where a little loose but took a bit of doing to get them off. I just love this solid scales, i wish Vic was still making these, i wouldn't ming loosing the pin slot at all if they where still putting these scales on the SAK's. Had to put a drop of Araldite glue on the rivet slots before putting them back on the knife so they sit solidly still.

Anybody happen have a clue where (or if) i can get my hands on some pairs of new vintage (91/84mm) red cellidor solid scales...?

PS: added a pic of new 84's for reference vs the old (better) ones  ;)
