Using a self cinching knot with a tar coated fishing net string, I was able to make a pretty effective thumb stud. I also swapped the serrated blade for the hook cutter. And it took me a while to find the hidden lanyard!!!

I think another member also uses this method on his Leatherman.  Nice way to add purchase when opening the blades.

That would be NKlamerous (I but hered that). I always liked the little splash of green it added on his Wave.
