I'm at around 50 as well. And maybe 6 or 7 SAKs-worth of parts.

The right amount to have is, of course, "just one more".

The nice thing about them compaired to my other crippling addictions hobby collections is that even a few hundred can be stored in a small space.

I await the collection pics featuring 300 purple alox in a custom cabinet  :popcorn:

I also await Monrogue clicking on that "1".

Too darn many! About 50-60 - it all started because of you folks. Before I found this site I only had one; an old Vic Champion that I carried when backpacking.

20-25 give or take. Never say no to a new SAK, though, they're all welcome here if you feel you have too many  :D

I've had lots of SAK's over the years since my firs tone in 1969. A one got stolen at an army barracks, one got stolen out of a glove box when my car was broken int. A few got gifts away when they were admired by a family member or friend. Some I traded off because they were not a model that fitted my life anymore. Then I downsized all my personal possessions.

At present time I have 5 SAK's. My tinker, Wenger SI, recruit, and two classics. That's enough for my lifestyle.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

That makes 8...

If I couldn't resist the urge so far, that would probably be 80.

My collection is between 100-120, but I reached an accumulation peak a while ago (maybe 2 years?), and now I am mostly refining/downsizing. The introduction of the Pioneer X caused me to have a slight relapse.  :ahhh

8 SAKs, a Swisstool RS, and a Swisstool Spirit X. My next purchase will be a Wenger SI with bail, or Victorinox Soldier with bail. If anyone has an extra of either they are willing to sell or trade, please let me know.

I have about 25 or so.... but problem is that they are not the right ones :ahhh

My collection wishlist adds up to about 50 mostly modded saks:
- A birth year soldier or standard issue (1977)
- Red 84mm OC+ alox versions of the bantam, cadet, lumberjack, voyageur and possibly a microfarmer
- Modern red alox versions of the above
- Full 93mm variant set in red alox
- full set of red swisscards
- bladeless swisschamp
- bladeless grand prix
- A set of 91mm saks with combo tool, main blade, backspring screwdriver and +1 layer. The extra layer should be unique for each sak in the set, and cover all available 91mm layers.
- scientist
- engineer
- some sort of custom whittling sak
- a handful of other mission-specific customs.
- a handful of 74 & 58mm saks
