30 Day Minimalist Challenge
on: February 06, 2017, 09:15:57 PM
Hot on the heels of El Corkscrew, I'm going to have a go at the 30 day Minimalist Challenge with 3 awesome SAKs: my Wenger SI, Vic Spartan and standard Tinker.  The Tinker is an old friend that hasn't gotten a lot of pocket time in recent history, and the Spartan is an old favorite.  I've gotten a bad case of Alox pox since getting the SI, and have been kicking around doing this with it for a little while.  Here goes!!

Great challenge  :salute:
Exactly what I've been carrying for some time now ( except the alox which is recent)  :D

Good luck Barry, I found myself either scissor challenged or opener challenged for a month, but it's a fun one.

Day 1: Tinker for Tinker Tuesday!  I work the overnight shift so it's a late breakfast for me.  After I enjoy a cuppa PG Peppermint I'll see what the day brings for the two of us to work on.

Kicking off with a whimper instead of a bang.  I used the Tinker to slice a bagel and some jerky for a late afternoon snack.

I love bagels and jerky, so I'd have to disagree.  :tu:
I don't recall ever eating them together though.

Thanks Poncho!  For Day 2 and Wenger Wednesday I'm packing the SI.  I actually put it to good use today tightening a loose hinge at work.

Day 3: Spartan!  Just starting out today, but already put the small blade to use cutting the foil out of a bottle of cola syrup.

There's a badge for it, the challenge was in October.

A combination of both.  I've been  so impressed with that Wenger SI that I wanted to EDC it.  I thought I'd throw in the other two as they've been neglected lately.

The Spartan really got a workout yesterday.  I wound up having to clear up a jammed auger in my pellet stove but didn't have a Philips head screwdriver short enough to clear the wall.  The can opener tip did the trick!
