SAK Custom Scale Logo Poll

  ???Help!!!

i am designing  some new scales for the 58mm classic and i heed help choosing a logo to put on them. the scales will be injection molded so i will have to order a good bit from the manufacturer to make it worth their time and i dont want to pick a stupid logo. also i just want to make sure this idea is a waste of time.

What are the Humps? bumps? logo  and what do they mean - They look like bullets or clouds to my eye.

The black ones make me think: Wont they just chip and break off pieces of the Logo if molded raised? 
That is why most do them inset/inlaid ........... I think?  = Double Head Scratcher ...LOL

Here's another one. I am also thing of making the actual scale surface rough like grip tape or knurl. I'm getting the 3d renderings made and will post them soon

Personally I think your avatar picture would look great on a SAK scale!

Firstly I think this is great but may I ask why you're planning to do it?

IMO the logos are cool but maybe you could be more adventurous with the rest of the scale, like you said a texture or pattern, to go to all that effort and come out with something too much like a Vic factory job would be a shame I think...

First of all I think this is a great idea and I'm glad you're doing this. I mainly like the animals. And the raised/recessed approach is cool. I'd like to see any of the following:

Alligator
Bobcat
Cougar
Lizard
Mantis
Octopus
Lion
Desert scene
Alpine mountain scene
Or ya'know, a naked mermaid 

Also extra features molded in like T&T on the same side/pen on the other, pin slot, or ruler printed on the scale

Thanks for all the feedback. Cmp you make a great point. in the beginning i was just wanting to make just  simple scales in crazy colors, but then decided to have a rough straight  surface but still have the rounded edges.

Well, I like it. Simplistic and original. Imho for a logo simplistic is better.

It all depends on what you want to achieve.
Do you want to go for easy recognition? Go for a simplistic logo.
Do you want it to be decorative above all else? Go nuts with the detail! 
That's not saying a simplistic logo can't be decorative.

I like the others' ideas also. Especially the one with the toothpick and tweezers!

In the end pick the one you like the most. Who cares what others think?

I've decided to just put a swiss plus sign. At least for the first round that I order. Here are pics of the models im going to get made.

Some tips for you.

-Do not use the trademarked Vic logo.  This is any combination of shield and cross.  (The + alone is ok) The friendly trademarks lawyers will indeed contact you if you use their logo or variant. 

-Do not use in domains or emails registered phrases like 'swiss army' or 'Victorinox'.

-If you dont use the right type of plastic you wont be able to snap the scales onto the stock bushings.

-Custom logos are great but everyone will want something different.
