Do you prefer a SAK or Multi for EDC?

I think that SAKs do long tools like knives and saws better than Multis.
The saw in a typical multi is not very large for the multis size.

Nice topic.  :tu:
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

I agree however some multis have v-ground which is nice and larger, sturdier blades.

It's both for me as well.  I prefer SAKs for pocket carry, always on my person, but I keep plier-based multis in all bags and cars (and most drawers...).  For quick, impromptu tasks, usually SAKs.  For planned tasks/projects, multis.

But then, those are the SAKs and Multis that I have (smaller SAKs, larger MTs), whereas other folks might be the opposite.  As you can imagine, I think about this type of thing quite a bit, as do others here :)

Bladeless multi-tools are available but bladeless SAK's are not (a knife without a knife?) so that is another plus as I am a student so most of the times are a no go.
Just keep prepping!

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Voted for both. If I had to narrow it down then it would probably be knives before saks or multis.

I voted both.  My work carry is always going to be a MT.  I can live without a SAK for work.  Off day carry however I cannot go with out a SAK but I do like having a small MT like my Squirt with me.

Both.  Always a SAK in my pocket and an MT somewhere near by (unless I roam too far, then it's just the SAK in my pocket).

Both... SAK in my pocket and MT in my bag... That's if I carry my bag... On no bag days, just the SAK...

However, these are on my keychain all the time... I never leave home without it...

Both for me.  The only time I'm only carrying one is at home in sweats or gym shorts, and then it's a SAK.

I voted SAK. I prefer a combination of both but I can carry a SAK with more ease in my pocket.

Also, because the SAK was the only MT I knew of and lusted after growing up :)
