Its starting to look like LMs beef with TTC was about the modding and not just a misunderstanding about using the name. The Signal looks great thats for sure. I'm wondering what other tools LM plans on coating?
I don't see a coyote Signal on the LM website. The description on the video says that he found it in store at Cabelas. That must be the only place its available, since its not referenced on their website either. At any rate - this is a huge improvement IMO. Tactical/tacti-cool is all the rage these days, so any company would be wise to offer a coyote brown/flat dark earth version of everything they make. Anything stainless steel gets lost in the shuffle a bit, and could definitely be seen as "old fashioned" since most of the 20's-mid 30's crowd probably has memories of their dads and grandpas using a polished or brushed PST, Supertool, or Mr Pinchy. It's smart marketing really. Aim your products at the biggest demographic
I believe it's a Cabelas exclusive

If I remember correctly LM stated back when they announced 'steel' version of the Signal the BO version should be around the corner. That's probably what it is. I like it, the finish, color and bad-a$s appearance. I'd like to see MUT now in the similar finish

You guys after the Signal?
I almost grabbed it instead of the Rebar, but $100 was too high for me.

What is the general trend with Cabellas versions?I had a look at their website, the shipping is min $20 or 25% of the total price...Pete
I am hoping the price will drop a few $$$ or the Oz $ will improve a bit.
That green one is nice looking too Aloha. Where did it come from if you don't mind? One thing surprised me a bit, according to leatherman.com is the rebar actually has a longer blade at 2.9" vs 2.73" on the signal. That seems strange as on the rebar the blade has to share with the pliers.
