Knurled screw construction  -  NO date stamp
Handle stampings: REG’D TM 1325473 - Ruler is inch/metric   
Other handle blank - Knife tang stamped LEATHERMAN USA
LEATHERMAN USA cast into plier pivot

Actually, assuming that this doesn't have any metric ruler markings this could be a mid 80's PST looking back at Bob's PST project.  :)

OK something isn't adding up here  :think:.  According to Bob's project the hard wire notch wasn't added to 1996 so something doesn't tally up.

Any chance of some more pictures?

If it has hard wire cut (as per picture),it should have a date stamp inside the handles also. :salute:

Perhaps it was rebuilt by the factory (warranty) with a new plier head?
