Skeletoolish

There is a Skeletool style tool being sold on eBay for under $10. I decided to get one to see how it compares to the real thing. It arrived today and here are some side by side pictures:
On the face they look similar. The knockoff (left) is wider and has poorer fit and finish.
The back is much the same as above: OK but not great.
Edge on:
When opened to the pliers, The knockoff has a hold open spring - this does prevent it from closing completely.
The knockoff has only one driver bit - slot blade, small Phillips and they are held in by a magnet instead of the mechanical lock on the Skeletool. The Leatherman bits fit the knockoff, but not vice/versa.
Instead of a second bit the knockoff has a saw blade. Note that the knife blades (knockoff-plain edge; Skeletool combo) of both have frame locks, but the saw blade does not.
All in all, it looks like it should function OK, comes with a nylon sheath and is worth $10, but it isn't the quality of a Leatherman Skeletool.

+1, it doesn't seem like total junk.
Hooked, like everyone else.
All hail the hook!

Thanks for sharing.
I've never seen this one. For $10 it doesn't look half bad. A bit crude, but much better than what you'd expect.

It is a Skelefool, every edge of it is sharp except the knife.
Be careful with it.

It is hideous and beautiful at the same time.
It reminds me of a clone of the original wave many years ago in a local store. I almost wish i had one just for giggles.

It seems an interesting tool for the price, but I can not find it for sale in any of the usual sites (ebay, ali) does anyone have a link?
