In the past year I have had several, small, inexpensive items, I have ordered from eBay not arrive. Things ranging from a wire to a mini helicopter.
I have had 4 items not arrive in the past 5 months, compared to a total of around 10 for the past 10 years

Usually, I wait for two months and then lodge a complain through eBay/Paypal. I had on occasion an item arrive after several months, but these latest loses seem permanent.

I also ralised that it is better to take the refund, rather than ask for the item to be resend, as you never know if the seller will actually send you another item.

So, anybody else noticed items getting lost more often lately, mainly from eBay?

No over the last 5 years I've received everything I've ordered. However prior to that I was 'loosing' around 50% of all my mail. Fortunately the individuals who were loosing the mail were found and arrested.

I have found however with ebay that some of the sellers are setting estimated delivery dates so far in the future that it would be almost impossible for them to miss them.
