Swiss soldier knives for sale (Grilon scales)...........

Hi,

I regret that I must sell part of my Swiss soldier knife collection, first are these two....... both are Wenger M1952 models.........

The upper knife is a 1954 issued knife in good condition, everything functions correctly, springs are good, blade and other tools are in good condition with only normal service wear.



The lower knife is a 1957 issued knife with Grilon scales in good condition, everything functions correctly, springs are good, blade and other tools are in good condition with just normal service wear. Knives with the Grilon scales are quite hard to find compared with the standard issue knives.

I'm asking $65 for the 1954 knife and $90 for the 1957 with Grilon scales. postage will be $20 without tracking for each knife, (tracking is expensive from Norway, I but I can look into it if required). Payment is Paypal only with buyer paying cost.

Just returned from the PO, post:

to US and Canada without tracking is $12, with tracking is $22
to UK and Europe without tracking is $8,  with tracking is $20

so now we all know!

I'm open to offers on these two knives, but keep it real

Yes,
but I have other interests and I'm keeping a couple of soldier knives that I like (one a birth year, one from the original Swiss soldier and one that I bought in Switzerland in 1981)........ (and the other ten non-soldier knives that everyone ends up with)

before going further....... I've just returned from the 'PO' who quoted me the postage prices a few weeks ago, I never really looked at them and put kroner into dollars until today.

I just sent the 1957 Wenger to GB with tracking and charged $20, it cost me 340 kroner, using 'X rates' on my phone that is $40!

SO....... with tracking it's $40, without it is 70kr/$10.......... luckily I don't sell many knives!

The PO is a little corner of the local supermarket with the supermarket people running it, Norway has closed most POs and now the post is run by these fairly untrained and inexperienced people.

No Dan, I took your three to the PO and got a quote there and then told you the price. The other ones were quoted by the PO a few weeks ago but they must have been wrong....... so no problems........ hope you get them soon, cheers John

It's my fault for not checking properly.......... no big deal when it comes down to it and I'll take more care......

So the soldiers I have left for sale (keeping a few) are:
