Just got my new leatherman surge. The two halves don't like up is this normal?

won't let me post a picture for some reason says it's too large. How do I fix that

You will have to resize them. Them post them. If you are using a smartphone, there are apps that will resize them and then you can post them. Hope this help.

Ok got the picture fixed. I just picked up a leatherman surge brand new. I noticed the two halves when folded don't like up. The side without leatherman stamped on it is a little higher then the other. Is this normal or should I send it back to leatherman?

I would not worry  about it. If the are off a bit no big deal. Vics seem to be the worst about it, but it does not affect the function of the tool.  As the others said, you are OK.

Also, if I did not say it before, welcome to MTO. Glad to have you here.
