Leatherman Carabiners

I think this is a good deal if you're willing to wait a few weeks ...

I decided to give it a try and purchased 3 LM carabiners on eBay for less than $6 from a China seller. It took 3 weeks to receive them but they look exactly the same as the one selling on the LM website for $8 each+sh. Ebay photos show carabiners with a different name because of their policy but they will send you the correct ones engraved Leatherman . Not sure if the carabiners selling on the LM website are made in China, but these ones sure look and have the same weight.

They do look ok but isn't there a lot of fake leatherman stuff coming out of China ?

The font looks wrong to me... pretty sure its a fake.

I certainly would not be surprised if it is the same China manufacturer who makes them for Leatherman and they just changed the font and bottle design to sell them on the side. Anyhow, I won't pay $8 for one of this carabiners..
