I wanted to get some vinyl records for my listening pleasure but it got put on the back burner. Someone mentioned the Goodwill store sells them so I stopped in and they were correct. I picked up a few but have no way of listening to them. I was looking at a Victrola record player on Amazon and wanted to know what you guys think. I would also like to know the basics of records and record players if anyone is knowledgeable about that. I know basically nothing and have not done any research yet so please share your knowledge with me on the subject. Thank you in advance.  :tu:

The player I was looking at. I'm definitely up for other suggestions on the same general price range. I could spend a bit more if it will get me a better product.

I have an extensive collection of old LPs, mainly Classical. They long pre-date CDs, and I'm not interested in recreating my collection. Also have  a number of  CDs. The LPs supposedly sound 'richer'. My hearing can't tell the difference. The CDs are less subject to wear, and don't develop skips. Also its easier to find a specific track.

I have an old Bang & Olufsen turntable, pricey when I bought it 30 years ago. If you ever have to replace the stylus they're hard to find and expensive.
