Loose Juice Scales - repair?

Hi there guys, newbie here, first ever post.

So, my problem is that the scales on my Juice XE6 (old version) are loose, I can move them side to side with my fingers. I know it's a typical problem of the Juice line, but I couldn't find any solution online so far.  ???

I mean, I tried giving the pins a good whack with a hammer  :twak:, but I didn't dare to hit them really hard, so there was no improvement. Any ideas how to make them secure, stable again? I don't want to strip the scales, I like the storm grey colur, the whole tool just looks really "together", but the looseness, the noise they make, and the fear that my finger - or anything - might catch the edges and bend the scale is annoying.

you may add a bit of epoxy glue underneath, to stop them from moving

Yeah, I considered that as well as a last resort, but I'm not sure how well it would hold and also I'm a bit afraid of smurfing up and getting glue on the tools themselves and giving myself additional work cleaning the whole thing. But a good idea anyway, thanks!
