Multi Perfection.

You ever get to a place where the need to change up your EDC all the time kind of goes away?

Found a excellent combination of tools and carry method?

Let's see them.

Here is what I have been carrying around in my large Skinth Shield and RFP for a while now. Sometimes I will add a larger flashlight or carry a different Spyderco folder but just for grins opposed to some imagined need.

UKPK? Hard to find much fault in that set up  :tu:

I have several combos which work really well for me. I'll try to get some up to date pics over the next couple of days

PX (urban) and Carver (outdoor). Been carrying this combo for a few months now and don't need anything else.except some larger dedicated tools at work. I'm throwing in a MiniChamp for fun and showing off, mostly.

Multi perfection has taken the form of either my Swisstool X,or my Spirit, with a Zebra Mini-Expands,and an iLight i03. The SAK,and folder are pretty much decoration

Started working on putting mine together right after the Wave came out.  A Wave, Mini Mag light, and SAK.  After breaking three Waves in one year (right where the handlee meets the plier hinge) I found the Swisstool RS. So I didn't need the SAK just a single blade OHO with a pocket clip.  Then came the LED flash light in the form of a single AA Nebo and the Swisstool X Plus with ratchet set.  Still a lot to spread out in the pockets and went through AAs like crazy.  Enter the Zebralight SC62 with 18650 rechargables and a custom Pouch from J.L Thieman that holds it all and as a bonus has the SAK tweezers and Pick that I missed.  I finaly got it perfect. Can't imagine ever changing it, except on Special occasions when its just a simple Spirit X in the pocket.  Well I forgot the shower but even then its still near at hand. Now that after nearly 20 years I can start getting stuf just for the fun of it.  I've even considered giving the Wave a socond (4th) try always did like the OHO on it.  Is the connection point any stonger now than it was origanily?

I guess I kind of have, I have tried a bunch of different SAKs but the only lasting change has been replacing the Tourist with a Spartan. Other than that I have added a lighter and pen to my on person carry and a Spirit and Olight S2A to my gear.

I also carry an Executive right now but that's only until I find a good way of combining my favourite tools into a custom Swisscard.

it's proving to be a tough beast to tame,

but very easy to carry and comfortable in hand. Due to its curved shape and serrated pattern, it makes an excellent companion for a plain edged, straight SAK blade, to handle all kinds of cutting chores available    :salute:

I wouldn't call it perfect, but this setup has been working for me.   :)

I Keep the LM Signal, the flashlight, and the sharpie in one of the LM leather sheaths with the two side loops for pens and stuff.
I recently gave my Gerber EAB a rest since purchasing my beloved 940.
With any luck, I'll be swapping out that no-name light for a Streamlight Microstream.  :D

Probably won't be having the perfect setup untill I buy a Skinth one day, but when belt carrying, I quite enjoy my Charge AL in an older gen pouch (with those elastic loops, like King G) in the loops a Led Lenser P3 and mini Bic.

Bag carry is Led lenser F1R, full size bic, telescopic zebra pen, FAK, random multi and/or random SAK.

I feel I've got the stuff right, just not the way to carry it :(

I too am hoping to try those Skinth sheaths, they look so cool.  I just wonder if I wouldn't be happier spending months learning to make stuff out of leather and making my own custom sheath.  :(
What does FAK stand for?  ???

I don't know if I would say "perfection" when describing the Utilikey because it's bottle opener is so hard to use and half of its features are difficult to access quickly.  BUT it is so small, and so discrete and so simple, that carrying it is a no brainer.  I look at it like a tool that might be lacking in some areas but costs nothing to add to your setup.  I guess I would say that there is no logical reason to not carry one  :D

do you like that blue MT that is in your picture?  Is it the Schrade or is it one of the other brands?  I was thinking about getting one of the Coleman ones but amazon ran out.  :(    I also got mixed reviews.
