Advice for a horizontal belt carry knife.
on: July 11, 2017, 07:15:04 PM
I've always kind of wanted a small to medium size fixed blade that I could carry horizontally on my belt on the back of my jeans. I've never really looked into what's available though.

I want something slim because of where I'll be wearing it, and I want to be comfortable sitting in a chair/Jeep with it on.

I've only done one quick image search, and seen someone using a Becker Necker, with paracord to make it a horizontal carry. I really like the look of that knife, and it seems to be around the size I want.

So, what do you all recommended that I look at?

I would look into the Esse Izula. They make great sheaths for them as well.

The CRKT Hunt'n Fisch is a good size (just under 3 inch blade) with G-10 handle, and it comes with a leather, horizontal sheath. You should be able to find it for around $50 and CRKT is donating all profits from this knife to pancreatic cancer research.
